TESTIMONIAL

My name is Nate. I'm a horse trainer in Lamar, Colorado. I didn't have any prior experience in construction,      just normal day to day ranch work. I contacted Redstone Engineered Homes Systems to see what kind of house I could build. The price for a modular was going to cost $95,000 with a foundation. I didn't want a modular because of the resale value,  I contacted a few builders in my area, and the cheapest was $100 per sq' for a stick built home with plain jane finishes. I sent a sketch to Redstone of the floor plan that I wanted. Within a few days, I had a quote for the engineered home system.  Redstone helped me with a construction budget of $88,000 for the finished house. They were very helpful with negotiating with the sub-contractors so I could get a fair price for their work.

I purchased the engineered system in June of 07. While the sub-contractor was building my foundation, Redstone was building my engineered system.  The last week of June the engineered system was delivered to my ranch. On the 4th of July I had 3 friends of mine lined up to help me put the "kit" together. All the walls were numbered and easy to understand. At the end of the 4 day weekend, I had every thing up except the roof sheathing. My friends had to leave, and it took my ranch hand and I  2 more days to put the sheathing on and install the windows. I never did anything like this before. The windows were real easy to install. The openings were so square, that all I had to do was make sure the windows were centered in the opening. After 6 days the "kit" was up and under roof. Anytime I had a question, I would just make a phone call, Redstone was always there to help.

From this point on, I could only work on the house in the evenings, after riding horses all day. I had all my sub-contractors lined up to do the work that I couldn't do. I moved in the house during the 2nd week of October. I went over budget by about $12,000, because I put hardwood floors in, and also had the home stucco sided.

My final cost for everything was just over $100,000. My cost per sq' foot was $55.55.

I saved $80,000 over a stick built home, and it's not a modular home.

I would recommend your company to anyone you wants to save money building a house.

Thanks Redstone

"AMAZING COST SAVINGS" You can save 50% when you are the Owner/Builder

You are driving down the road, and see beautiful homes that you would like to own. These are spacious custom homes with many up-grades and custom features. They cost around $350,000. You want to build a house like that, but not at that price. You sigh and drive on. But wait a minute. What if you could save 35% to 50% on construction, and build that same $350,000 house for $225,000 to $175,000?

OWNER / BUILDER, The best kept secret

The big savings in home costs that build value are called "Sweat Equity". You provide some of the labor on your new home. The labor that you can't do yourself, you simply hire out to sub-contractors. Cost savings will come from applying  our engineered system, planning, and controlling construction costs. Simply put......... Management.
